Great Fishing For Young and Old
The Marion County Youth Fishing Park is a great fishing opportunity for all the children in your life. Your kids or grand kids will love the environment and this pond is situated so that it is easy access for those little ones.
All of the different species of fish are unknown however the known species in the pond are:
Bass, Bluegill, Sunfish, Catfish, Hybrid Bluegill.
The park is owned and operated by the Marion County Commission. The park will be open to the public each year from March 1 to October 31. The pond is stocked regularly with bass, hybrid bluegill and catfish. We will continue to make the improvements that best serve you.
Directions
Take Speedway Avenue or Morgantown Avenue to Hoult Road . Follow signs for the BMX Park. Do not turn into the BMX Park and just continue another half mile. You’ll see the Fishing Park on your left.
