The Mules ‘ dobro, mandolin, guitar, and bass anchor the sweet three-part singing of the band’s energetic and heartfelt vocalists. This banjo-less bluegrass draws generously from the classic songbooks of Flatt and Scruggs, The Osbourne Brothers, Bill Monroe, Reno and Smiley, among others. Their presentation of these songs is at once true to form and a contemporary expression by these emerging.
