About Us
The Convention & Visitors Bureau of Marion County Inc. is a nonprofit marketing and sales organization whose sole purpose is to take the leadership role in developing the area’s tourism industry and advancing Marion County as a vacation, group tour and meeting destination. We invite you to visit us in Fairmont, located in North Central West Virginia along I-79.

Hours of operation Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.
Hours of operation from Memorial Day through Labor Day Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 6:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am until 2 pm.
The Bureau observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
